This house went from compacted dirt to a thriving living soil in 21 weeks. If you build it they will come… How this was achieved can be viewed back on my timeline. It’s basically a lasagna tech of various types of organic matter, mostly wood chips. The key to this chaos was topping the beds off with a nice layer of finished topsoil or compost. Last week was the first decent harvest and we pulled about 20lbs of nutrient dense food out of this little area. Tomorrow will be week two on feeding those around us.
